At Dorset Recovery Group & Motor Services, we do a bit more than your average garage. Based on Jubilee Close in Weymouth, we’ve built the business around being there when people actually need help – whether that’s a routine service, a sudden fault, or a breakdown at the side of the road.

Most of our work comes through the workshop, where we carry out repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and MOT preparation for cars and vans up to 3.5 tonnes. We look after vehicles from all around the Weymouth, Dorchester, and Portland areas, with a focus on doing things properly and getting customers back on the road without unnecessary delays.

More Than Just a Garage

Alongside the workshop, we offer a mobile mechanic service that’s a bit like having your own local AA. If something goes wrong, we’ll come out, take a look, and fix what we can on the spot. If it needs more involved work, we can recover the vehicle and bring it straight back to our workshop to sort it properly.

Our recovery service runs 24/7 and covers the wider region around Weymouth, so no matter when or where you break down, there’s always someone to call. It’s all designed to make things easier – one number, one team, and a clear plan to get you moving again.

Straightforward, Honest Service

We keep things simple. You’ll get clear advice, fair pricing, and work that’s backed by a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty. Servicing is carried out to the manufacturer specifications, so any remaining warranty stays intact, and we can update online service records if required.
